No. This is a person-time model of active laundry work. Adding a machine cycle to hands-on time would inflate the number of people.
How is daily laundry time converted into people right now?
The US survey mean is 0.17 hours, or 10.2 minutes per person aged 15+ per day, including people who did no laundry. Adult population multiplied by 10.2/1440 gives a daily average before local-hour redistribution.
Is the laundry estimate global survey data?
